This photo? This is not where I live. I put it on here by accident. But when I saw it, I thought, this photo is a metaphor. It is how I feel inside when I sit in my peace chair and let various things occur to me before I start the day.

I am one of those people who like early mornings. I like the peace of them. I like the sense of possibility.

When I get up, the first thing I do is heat left-over coffee to sustain me until the brewed coffee is ready. (I know. Addict.)

I feed the cat, which is really fun, because she is so eager to get food on her special plate, which happens to be decorated with a pink flower. She doesn’t care about the pink flower. She cares about the fish. But I like the pink flower and I like her eagerness and I like the way she washes her face with casual elegance when she has finished her breakfast.
