You know how it is. You get a nice little cake and you take a nice little slice and you tell yourself that it will suffice. No sense in being a hog about it. One slice is fine. You put the cake away, you walk away, and you go to another room. And then the cake starts to bother you. It keeps inserting itself into your brain. You kind of can’t stop thinking about it. You envision yourself having just another little tiny bite. Just a little one, one that you slice off with a baby fork. Naturally, this does not happen. You go up and see the cake and you have another slice. Then you go to bed. And the cake bothers you still. I don’t think I have to tell you what you do. This concludes my confession of the day. Thank you for listening.

And now I want cake!
Cookies, potato chips, tortilla chips, dark chocolate--never carrots or kale.
