Thank you for the encouragement about writing a memoir. I’ve been keeping a journal since I was 12 (I’m now 65) and although it’s spotty in some places and somewhat mundane in others, I have embarked on a project of adding photos and other memorabilia to it and typing it into my computer. I hope someday my kids might enjoy it. If nothing else, they will learn things about me that I’m sure they never knew.

In the meantime, I am enjoying revisiting my memories.

We ARE all unique individuals and have unique stories.

I laughed out loud at your Trader Joe's remarks. And about eating just one chip on the way home LOLOLOL. Exactly why I skipped going to TJs yesterday on my way home from the DeKalb Farmers Market. Both are in downtown Atlanta or thereabouts and if I'm going to drive that far, I might as well hit them both. Somehow I was strong enough to say NO, YOU KNOW YOU ONLY WILL BUY THE THINGS YOU DON'T NEED!

I'm just the opposite post-holiday: the to-do list has suddenly dissipated, and the new year new beginning makes me want to organizing every area of my house. Which I would be doing a lot of except my darned full-time job takes up so much time, LOL. I love the idea of writing one's life story. MIne takes the form of scrapbooks with photos and some journaling. Another thing I will do a lot more of after I can someday ditch the paid work.

I love the flavor of those elote chips but they are too spicy for me 😕. Trader Joe’s ordinary corn chips are pretty tasty, too.

At the recommendation of a friend, I read a book written by her cousin. I loved it more than I’ve loved a book in a long time. It’s the first book publication of Daniel Victor though he’s been writing a long time. The title is The Evil Inclination, a romance between 2 college students in the 60’s but so much more. If you read it, let me know what you think. I’ll look into the book you suggested.

Loved the photo of you. I don’t think I’ve experienced Elote chips. I can identify with your opening the bag as you drive home only to eat half the bag before arriving. I leave the bag in the car until I can slip it in unseen.

In my area of Mississippi, 90 minutes from the Gulf Coast or Mobile, Alabama, and two hours from New Orleans, it’s Mardi Gras! Purchase a King Cake and have a party 🎉👵🏻 Now I’m headed to my front door and replacing the Christmas Wreath with my Mardi Gras wreath!

publisher sent last layout pages so too late to take memoir course - wish I had taken it because, since I sent the final final pages, I've wanted them back to make more changes!!

The horseradish cheddar dip is my downfall - I love the damn stuff and foolishly always have it in the condo - I buy carrots and cauliflower with the best intentions to eat it with them - then, I polish those off and get the chips out!! And eat until I am stuffed!!

Trader Joe's is so much fun - I HATE grocery shopping - actually any domestic chore, but, I do like checking out what new things they have there.
