I have had many parties where the guests bring either an appetizer or dessert.
There is a fabulous restaurant called Cafe Maxx that is my very favorite. It's pricy. The menu changes daily based on what is fresh and in season. We used to go with another couple (both mates have passed away) and the husbands would do the starter, main and dessert while the two of us women would share appetizers and dessert. Maybe a half portion of a pasta if it was interesting enough. My favorite meals.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….Will put this on my list of things to make.
Maybe in 2024, I’ll actually follow through on my intentions.

Yum! - and a much more aesthetic presentation! I just put oil cured black olives and dried figs in the blender and whirl.
